Today, you’ll experience a sightseeing tour of the iconic Valley of the Ten Peaks. The day’s highlights begins with viewing one of Canada’s finest glacier fed lakes – Moraine! Admire the vibrant blue water and snow-capped peaks as you walk along the shoreline. Next, you’ll head to Yoho National Park. Named after a Cree First Nations word that translates to “awe”, you’ll experience this and more as you venture over Kicking Horse Pass towards the town of Field.

Travel from Banff to Kamloops
Today is your first day on the world-renowned Rocky Mountaineer! Your journey begins at Banff Station where you will board the train around 7.40 am MT. Starting in the morning has its perks, you’ll be served a gourmet breakfast with extra helpings of exhilarating alpine views. Along with the premium service and informative commentary, highlights of the day include crossing the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie. Upon arrival in Kamloops, you’ll have some time to explore the town and see where the north and south rivers meet.
