After breakfast a private transfer will transport you to Lake Hood, where your floatplane will be waiting. A scenic 1-hour flight will deliver you to Finger Lake, set amongst the Tordrillo Mountains. Steeped in history, Winterlake Lodge is perched on fifteen acres along mile 198 of the Iditarod trail, and acts as a checkpoint during the race itself. After breakfast you’ll board a seaplane flight bound for Anchorage. Upon your arrival, your driver will meet you for your private transfer to Whittier (up to 5 hrs) where you’ll board the Sea Mist yacht.
