Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and the historic Buddhist shrine, the Monkey Temple (locally named Swoyambhu), Bouddhanath stupa and Pashupatinath to immerse yourself in this side of Nepalese culture and one of the most important Buddhist centres in the world.

After breakfast, you’ll take the trail to Chisapani, a popular mountain ranges viewpoint which is great for sunrises. It is a five-hour hike away. The common vegetations found in the park are Schimawallichii, Castanopsisindica, Alnusnepalensis and more. The park has 311 species of birds including 117 migratory birds. The park also has 102 species of moths and butterflies.

After breakfast, you’ll take the trail to Chisapani, a five-hour hike away. Teahouses are guesthouse-style locally-owned accommodation that are scattered across Nepal. They are simple stone or wooden buildings that have a kitchen, communal eating area and a communal bathroom. The rooms are basic but clean and have usually two single beds with a
thick blanket and a pillow with a table that separates them.

Most trekkers skip on showers during their trek, however, some teahouses do offer hot bucket showers at a small fee. On the rare occasion that the teahouses offer the option of a private bathroom, you will be expected to pay an extra fee.

Usually, your trekking tour has 3 meals included. Most teahouses offer the same menu – dhal bhat, momos, pasta, pizza, and rice and noodle dishes.

The stupas and the monastery were once very difficult to get to, however, more development has made this much easier. These developments have not taken away the sanctity and beauty of this highly venerated spot.

My name is Hari. Born in a historical city of Bhaktapur, I was pretty determined from the very beginning to work in the tourism industry.

Since my childhood, I was very curious to know and get familiar with the tourists that passed by my house in the vicinity of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. As they passed by my house I would hurriedly pop my head out of the window to wave at them. I would try to greet and speak in my poor English. Of course, most of the tourists would wave back to me or take photos. I used to enjoy it.

In this way, I grew up in Bhaktapur city, learning English by talking with a number of tourists. Now I have hundreds of friends from different parts of the world. The opportunity to get familiar with the different traveller instilled me a very deep love for travelling and adventure.

I began my first adventure at 18 when I ventured out for Annapurna Base Camp. After that, the mountains never let me go away. I had the opportunity to explore almost every area including Everest Base Camp and Langtang region. I continued travelling and trekking as a profession.
Now, I am happy to find myself working as a tourism entrepreneur.

Being a local citizen, my knowledge of culture in Kathmandu, history of Nepal, geographical features of mountains along with internal political and bureaucratic system gives me the confidence to do trekking and tour in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet.

Personally, I am of the opinion that, for Nepal tourism is the best potential economic activities. So, by developing tourism, we can create jobs for the local people using local resources. The hospitality of the Nepalese people is world renowned. The beauty of Nepal is incomparable and the history is equally mesmerizing. This gives me the confidence to make my clients happy. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home to the highest mountains and the longest glaciers. It is alpine in the purest sense – with skyscraping peaks, glaciers and permanent snowfields, all set under a star-studded sky. Located on the shores of Lake Dunstan, Cromwell has the appearance of a modern town, but its history stretches back to the gold rush days of the 1800s. This history is best experienced in ‘Old Cromwell Town’, a feature attraction for visitors. In the 1980s and ’90s, Cromwell underwent a major transformation with the construction of the Clyde Dam power station.

When the dam was completed in 1992, the valley behind it was flooded to create Lake Dunstan. As a result, the original site of Cromwell’s historic business district at the junction of the Kawarau and Clutha Rivers now lies at the bottom of the lake.

One of the most important churches in the city, the Basilica of San Domenico, also known as Basilica Cateriniana of Siena dates back to the 13th century. However, it owes its gothic appearance to the enlargement of the 14th century.
