You’ll be able to admire Perito Moreno from a number of different vantage points thanks to the network of wooden walkways that zigzag strategically in front of the glacier. Although the town grew for the purpose of tourism, it still retains its rural feel where quiet lanes lined with trees and local agriculture never too far away. A day in El Calafate is ideal for those looking for a rest day with a view, the hue of Lago Argentino creates a mesmerising
backdrop for your moments enjoying rural Argentine life, drinking mate, eating local snacks and watching the world go by.
