Depart your Cape Town hotel after breakfast and a private transfer will take you to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger National Park (flights not included, additional costs apply). On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport you will be met by a driver and transferred to your selected Kruger safari lodge.

One of the finest nature reserves in Africa, the Kruger is a vast wilderness of thorn trees, prolific game and sub-tropical heat. It is home not only to The Big Seven – elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, cheetah and wild dog, but also to an abundance of smaller, equally fascinating animals and birdlife. The size of Wales this amazing wildlife paradise contains a vast array of habitats that attract different animals and birdlife in different seasons. Your time in Kruger is spent on early morning and afternoon game drives in search of exciting sightings. Between game drives, you will have time to relax and enjoy the sumptuous meals on offer, a refreshing dip in the pool or quiet time with a book overlooking the fabulous African bush.

Days 8-10: Victoria Falls

(3 nights bed & breakfast)

After a last morning game drive in Kruger head off to the airport for your onward flight (flights not included, additional costs apply). You will be met on arrival at Victoria Falls airport and transferred to your hotel.

The Victoria Falls is a sight not to be missed – the clouds of spray generated by this thunderous descent have resulted in a lush rain forest full of stunning wild flowers. This is truly one of Africa’s most spectacular sights and the Victoria Falls village in Zimbabwe is the perfect base from which to appreciate it.

A host of activities are centred on four separate delights: the Falls, the magnificent Zambezi River, the surrounding Zambezi National Park and the Victoria Falls village. A tour of the Falls is a must, the ‘Flight of Angels’ helicopter flight gives you the most amazing aerial views of the Falls, and when water levels are low the Devil’s Pool will get the most hardened thrill seeker’s heart pumping. The Zambezi River has two characters – the wide gentle river above the Falls is a magic spot for sunset boat cruises or gentle canoeing, whilst below the Falls, the more adventurous can enjoy serious whitewater rafting, jet boating or bungee jumping.
Game drives, horse riding and conservation safaris are offered in the Zambezi National Park to view elephant and buffalo. Children are not forgotten and canopy tours cater to all ages. A high tea amidst the colonial splendour of the Victoria Falls Hotel is a daily event and a carnivorous feast at the Boma Restaurant awaits the hungry.

This package includes a Guided Falls Tour and Zambezi Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Days 11-12: Chobe National Park

(2 nights half or full board including game activities)

After breakfast you will be transferred across the border to Kasane in Botswana’s north.
Kasane is the perfect base for exploring Chobe Riverfront , the section of the Chobe National Park which runs along the southern shore of the Chobe River. Chobe Riverfront has very high concentrations of animals – especially in the dry season when the animals are drawn to the river. Chobe is famous for its huge herds of elephants which together with massive herds of buffalo often delight visitors. A sunset cruise on the Chobe River is a wonderful option – cruise amongst the grunting hippo or watch the elephants wade amongst the reed beds.

Stay at:
Standard – Chobe Safari Lodge or similar (half board & game activities)
Upgrade – Chobe Elephant Camp or similar (full board & game activities)

The Okavango Delta is truly magnificent. A jewel in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, the Okavango Delta is Africa’s largest and most beautiful oasis – an isolated, lush green paradise with some of the richest wildlife in the world. The maze of lily pad filled waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed, wooded islands is home to crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope and around 400 bird species. Your three night stay here is something you will never forget as you immerse yourself in the raw magic of the Okavango Delta.
